Wing planning.

I’ve got the other bomb built, just waiting for the Olive Drab to dry. So while I’m waiting, I decided to do a little planning on the wings themselves. Here’s what Yellow gives as “plans”. Basically, it’s calling out the obvious places where things go. The only problem is that there are a lot of callouts that also say “Not Included”. No hatches, covers or other little pieces are included. They’re up to the builder to fabricate. Although not a problem, it’s a bit of a let-down for a kit of this price-range.

I’m also a bit surprised of the thinness of the dihedral brace. Seems to only be an 1/8″ or so. But, seeing as I’ve never seen or heard of the wings folding on any Yellow P-47, I guess it’s good enough when supported by the fiberglass cloth.
