Some goodies arrived today.

I found a nice box waiting for us on the porch today – goodies from Aerotech.

The first 2 photos are the bomb pylons. Nice that a bunch of details are in there, but they’ll be covered up by the Flite-Metal. They look good, though I’ll have to do a bit of work to make the bombs droppable. These are pretty solid pieces.

This is a bunch of goodies – machine guns, control horn covers, light covers, a few things for the cockpit and more.

Ordered a few other things.

As I eluded to in the last post, I’ve finally heard back from Aero-Tech and ordered several things. I have a dummy engine and cowl divider on the way, along with bomb pylons and a bunch of other small detailing things. Should make life a bit easier when the time comes.

After working over the props a bit, I’m not sure I’m going to use the Yellow static prop. The blades are too wide and the hub is just terrible. Aero-Tech also has a static prop which I’ll probably end up getting before its all done.

A few more things are ordered.

Just ordered the Flight-Metal and will have the navigation lights ordered from RAM later on today.

Also I’ve been trying to get in touch with Aerotech Models to order their dummy radial engine and cowl divider, as well as their weapon pylons. Not having any luck though as they’ve not returned any of my calls. Hopefully this week.
